Let’s be honest — building a network marketing business isn't all sunshine, sand, and six-figure paychecks right out the gate.

Sometimes it feels more like you're stuck in a storm with no umbrella, right?

You’re showing up. You’re doing all the things. And still, the results feel like they’re taking their sweet time.

Maybe you're wondering, “Is this even working? Should I just give up and go back to what’s familiar?”

If that’s you, take a deep breath — and stay right here.

We’re pulling back the curtain and having a real conversation about what it actually takes to grow your dream business.

When Growth Feels Like a Waiting Game (The Pineapple Truth)

Have you ever felt like you're doing all the things you're supposed to do in your business, but nothing's working?

You're following the advice, showing up consistently, but you're not seeing the results.

You're thinking, “Should I just throw in the towel?”

Yeah, we’ve been there too.

Did you know a pineapple plant takes 18 months to produce its first fruit?

And then it might take another year to produce a second pineapple.

After that? No more pineapples.

So every pineapple you see in the store came from a plant that took nearly two years to grow and won’t ever produce again.

You don’t get mad at a pineapple plant for taking too long, right?

But how often do we do this in business?

You water it, you feed it, and a month later you’re like, “Well this didn’t work,” and toss it out.

But here’s the thing—your business isn’t failing. It’s just not ready yet.

You're growing a pineapple, and sometimes, that growth is happening underneath the surface where you can't see it yet.

So if you feel like quitting, remember: you might just be in your pineapple moment.

Keep watering. Keep nurturing. It's coming.

You’ve Been Lied To (Let’s Talk About Expectations)

Let’s be real—there are some unrealistic expectations floating around in our industry.

You might’ve heard promises like “Recruit 10 people in 10 days!” and thought, “Wow, that sounds amazing!”

But what they don’t tell you is the 90 days of hard work that happened before that magic recruiting window opened up.

Kat remembers watching a video that promised she could bring in 10 new people in 10 days.

Naturally, she was curious. She listened in and discovered something important: to have those big wins, you've got to do the prep work.

That means 90 days of consistent effort, building real relationships, and nurturing connections before you ever go into promo mode.

Only then does the recruiting part feel easy.

It’s kind of like growing your pineapple again. You can’t expect fruit without the watering season.

And too many brand-new marketers are being told they can skip that step.

That’s just not the reality.

If you’ve got no audience, no influence, and no trust built with people, you might recruit your mom, your sister, your neighbor, and maybe your dog… but that’s not going to get you far.

So let’s adjust our expectations.

Let’s normalize the prep work, the relationship-building, the consistent showing up.

That’s the real path to success in this business.

Not flashy promises—but showing up like a pineapple farmer who knows the fruit is coming.

It just takes time.

Stop Killing Your Pineapple Before It’s Ripe

Here’s the hard truth—most people quit way too soon.

We get it. You’ve been showing up, working hard, and it feels like nothing is happening.

So you start thinking, “Maybe I should just try something else. Maybe this isn’t for me.”

And just like that, you abandon your pineapple before it had a chance to bloom.

Think about how much energy it takes to start over every time.

You plant a seed, start watering it, and after a few weeks you don’t see fruit, so you plant a new seed and start again.

That beginning phase is the hardest part of any journey.

And if you keep quitting and starting over, you're stuck in that tough beginning forever.

We call this shiny object syndrome.

You keep looking for the next big thing, hoping it’ll be easier.

But oranges take time too. Lemons take time. Avocados? They need a whole other tree to grow beside them!

There’s no shortcut.

You have to stay in the game.

Give your plant a chance.

Celebrate the little things—your first live video, a new follower, someone commenting on your post.

Those small wins are signs your plant is growing. They’re your new leaves, your roots getting deeper.

Stay consistent. Keep nurturing.

You’re not starting over anymore. You're seeing it through.

How Long Will It Take? The Until Mentality

We get asked this all the time: “How long do I have to do this until it works?”

And the answer?

Until.

You do it until.

Think about a baby learning to walk.

They fall a hundred times, but they keep getting up. They don’t decide after the fifth fall, “Well, I guess walking’s not for me.”

No.

They keep going until they get it.

And then they run.

But somewhere along the way, as adults in this business, we forget that.

We dip a toe in and say, “I’ll try it and see if it works.”

That’s not commitment.

That's hesitation.

If you want big results, you go all in.

You show up daily, not with hustle and burnout, but with simple, consistent actions.

A little bit every day compounds.

This business is all about momentum.

At first, it takes energy to get things rolling. But once you do, it starts to snowball.

You don’t have to do all the things forever.

Eventually, you get to tailor it back.

But you have to earn that freedom by being consistent now.

So how long do you keep going?

Until.

Until your pineapple blooms.
Until the momentum builds.
Until your business becomes what you dreamed it would be.

Don’t quit before the magic happens.
