2. Myth: You Can Get Rich Quick!
Truth: Like any business you build, nothing is going to happen overnight.

Many people care about the process, something big businesses struggle to replicate.
6. Myth: You Have to Be a Salesperson.
Truth: Sales skills can be beneficial while you navigate network marketing.
But, sales skills are not the only way to succeed in network marketing. In fact, network marketing is more relationship-based.
The way you interact with your customers and your downline will be more important than if you began this journey with a background in sales.
7. Myth: Only People at the Top Make Money.
Truth: The business models for various network marketing companies vary, but everyone at every level has an opportunity to make money.
Sure, the people higher up will make more.
But nothing is stopping you from working hard to get yourself there, too.
8. Myth: You Have to Start with Money to Make Money.
Truth: The start-up costs for network marketing will also vary depending on which company you use, but many have reasonably priced starter kits.
Some will require you to purchase inventory, but not all.
Do your research before signing up for any company so you know what to expect (and what’s expected of you).
9. Myth: You Have to Pressure Your Friends and Family.
Truth: Most people who find success with network marketing will find it when they are nurturing authentic relationships with people.
No one likes being pressured.
No one likes being pushy.
By focusing on building a client base of customers with a genuine love for your product, you won’t have to worry about cornering Aunt Linda at Sunday dinner to ask her to join your team.
Your network marketing recruiting will become more natural as you share your love of your job with others who share your passion and interests.
