So, how do you reignite your network marketing team? If they are thinking of quitting? Well, I’m going to dive into this today, but if you’re joining me, my name is Fran Loha. I am one of the founders of beach bus influences the coaching community, where we coach and train entrepreneurs, network marketers, home based business owners, how to build their businesses entirely online, how to build, influence online and how to leverage the power of the power of social media, um, and how to automate their business as well. So I’m super excited to be here with you today. Um, and the first thing that I want to say to you is that, you know, when it comes to reigniting our network marketing team, if they’re thinking or quitting, when it comes to motivating people to get into action, if people are unmotivated to continue on their, to continue on their journey, to continue on their, on their dream, you cannot motivate people who are not motivated.
Um, you know, some people will join your, join your business and find that it’s hard and they don’t have the grit, the, the, the determination, the, the courage to stick with it. Okay. Um, you know, and for some people, a job where they have a boss who is telling them what to do every day is a better for them. Okay. And I’m gonna be completely honest with you because some people are not meant to be entrepreneurs. Some people do not have the grit, the courage, the determination, the, the savvy to actually stick with it long enough to see success. Okay. You cannot force people to do it. You can’t force people to do the work. Okay. And they may, you know, they may just, some people may just come in and just be, just be active, but not actually do anything. Um, but some people, if they’re, if they’re, if they’re gonna quit, the first thing that I do is, is, is get them, get them, sit them down, you know, or speak to them, um, and get them clear, get them crystal care on what their, their long term goal is.
Their crazy BHAG goal is they’re crazy. Big, hairy ass goal is get them clear on that. Okay. And what that’s going to mean to them. Exactly what it’s going to mean to them, how it’s gonna make them feel, what, what impact it’s gonna have on their family. So what impact that’s gonna have on their life? What impact is it going to have on their, on their, on them? Okay. Like, get them really crystal key on how it’s gonna make them feel. Because when they understand how it’s gonna make them feel okay. Then say, okay. So if it’s gonna, if this is gonna make you feel that way, okay. Are you prepared to stick with us through all the struggles, through all the failures, through the ups and downs? Because I don’t care what anybody says, this journey, this network marketing journey is a roller coaster ride, and they’re gonna be good times.
And when, during the good times, it’s really easy for people to stay motivated for people to stay, you know, stay in the game. And then when things aren’t quite going so well, and they’re not that motivated, and they’re not, you know, they’re not that excited about it. It’s, it’s hard to keep that motivation going. Okay. And that’s might be that’s often when people say, okay, no, this isn’t for me. You know, I’m, I’m tired of, I’m tired of the struggle. So it’s getting them, getting them clear on, on what it’s gonna mean to them and how it’s gonna make them feel. Okay. That’s, that’s, that’s one thing. Um, another thing is, you know, creating, creating a culture in your team where people feel appreciated, where people feel inspired to take action where people feel like they are a part of something that is bigger than them.
Okay. So, you know, creating you can, you can, you know, I mean, recognizing your team, recognizing people who stick with it, you know, it’s not only recognizing somebody who’s got their first customer, somebody who’s got their first, you know, their first team member, but actually recognizing people for doing the, do for sticking with it, for doing their first live video for doing their first, for doing, doing something that is moving their business forward. Because people love to feel recognized. People love to feel like they’re a part of something, but they love to feel recognized and people will do a lot for recognition. So that is, that is one way how you can, you know, re get that, get that excitement going again is when people see other people being recognized, I think, oh, okay. Like, let me, you know, I’m gonna get into action. I’m gonna do, do things.
Let me see what, you know, what I can do. Cuz I would love to feel like that too. I would love to feel, feel recognized and feel like, um, you know, I am, I am worthy and I am enough. You know, people feel like, feel like they are good enough feel, feel like they’re recognized. Feel like what they’re doing is, is being seen. Um, then again, they will be more inclined to stick with it. Okay. And the other thing is to, you know, to reignite, you know, if your team is, is in a bit of a slump, okay. And if people are thinking about quitting is create challenges, create, um, you can create, you can create challenges in your team. You can create a say if you have, if you have Facebook groups or, you know, groups where you do, uh, where you do challenges or groups, maybe where you do events in your, in your groups and you can create challenges, um, for people say, okay, we want you to track how many people you’re inviting to, to these challenges or inviting to these events and then reward them with a, a, you know, it could be, it could be a gift voucher.
It could be an Amazon voucher. It could be, um, anything, it could be interviewing them on, you know, on your, on your profile, cognize them and interviewing them. It could be giving them a coaching, like a private coaching call, but recognizing them and rewarding them for taking action. So create, you know, create challenges. So I’ve, I’ve discussed a couple things so far, an number one is helping them get clear on what their goal looks like and what that’s gonna mean to them. Okay. Understanding what that’s gonna mean to them, get them. You also want to, you want to get, let them make sure that they understand what it takes to, to, um, you to build a business, you know, in, in a network marketing company. Because I think a lot of people see, they see the, the, the quick success, maybe you go to an event and somebody comes up on stage and they, they walk up and they say, well, you know, in nine months I, I hit the top rank in my company and you, somebody looks at them and think, well, they can do that.
I can do that. What they don’t realize is what that person has been through to get there. Okay. And so it’s helping them get clear on, you know, your journey, what it’s taken for you to get where you are. And, and that this, this isn’t a, this isn’t a get rich quick scheme. This isn’t a, like you can build your business in, in 90 days and you’re gonna be hitting the top rank because that’s a load of BS. So getting them, helping them understand what it’s gonna take for them to, to see success. So they, so that they have more reasonable expectations on their, on their business, on their goals and what it’s gonna take to get there. Okay. Um, so, you know, you can do, you can do challenges, so get them clear, do challenges, recognize people, recognize those people for taking action. Um, and, um, you know, recognizing people wins and appreciate them.
Okay. But the other thing is, if you want to recognize your team is your team will do what you do. And if you are not building, if you are not enrolling people, if you are not enrolling customers, if you are not doing the, do your team will not do the do. And therefore they will lose motivation. They will lose the inspiration to keep building and will probably drop out because it is hard. So Rick, you know, it’s really important to, to, to, to, um, to recognize people. Um, I think an, I think another super important thing to make clear in your, if you have, if you have chat groups, wherever your team talks together, okay. If it’s in messenger, chat at groups or whatever it is, if you chat on telegram or wherever you chat, or if you chat on WhatsApp is to make it clear that negativity needs to stay out of there.
Because if you see one negative comment, come into a chat, um, other people who may be feeling a little bit like that are all going to parts on it. And that negative negativity spreads like wildfire. So that if there is something that somebody wants to share that is more on the negative side or struck goal, is ask them to bring that to you privately and, and create this, create this, this culture that, you know, you don’t, you don’t want. Yeah, we can be real, but you don’t want the, the negativity on chats that is going to H make people, some people perhaps question, um, what they’re doing there, if they’re also struggling. Um, the other thing, the other, the other thing that that is, that is really important is to, um, encourage, um, an, an abundance mentality so that, you know, your team, you know, within the team.
So that, that, for example, if you have challenge groups and you have lots of people in your team inviting to that challenge group is UN letting your team know that there are plenty efficiency and have an abundance mentality that success can come from for everyone. Um, but you know, have that abundance mentality so that if somebody comes and says, I want to enroll, let them get back with a person that they, that they were invited by, okay. And help everybody feel included, help everybody feel that they’re a part of the team. Don’t, um, you know, if, if, if your team is a, is a performance accepted, has a performance acceptance culture where you need to hit a certain rank in order to, in order to maybe get training from the, from the, from the top leaders in the team is people will lose. Inspiration, will lose motivation, very fast to keep building.
If they are struggling to get there, to actually learn from, learn from the people who are seeing success to learn from the people who can help them see success, you need to, um, this is, this is something that I learned, um, that, that I learned a while ago is support everybody in your team. Be let them know that they, that they, that you support them all, but there are gonna be people that you’re going to spend more time with. And those are people who really deserve your time. The people who are getting you in conversations are people who are, you know, getting you, um, who are running people who are inviting a ton of people into, into, into events or challenges who are getting you on enrollment calls. But if Mary has just started and she hasn’t been in getting you, you know, getting you front in front of, in front of people, hasn’t been getting you on enrollment calls, but she, um, you know, she needs a little bit of support.
Let them know that that everyone is supported, but there are people who are going to deserve more of your time than others. And those are the people who are actually actively building. Okay. But I think the greatest thing, the greatest thing, if you want to reignite your team is get them doing, um, activities that is going to help them see results. Okay? So create challenges, create events, create things for them to, to invite people that will help them grow their team that will help them see success. Because once people start seeing success, they’re much more motivated, much more inspired to keep going to keep building. If they’re not, if you don’t have anything happening in your team, to help them get into conversations, to help them, you know, expose people to your company, to expose people to your products, um, or expose people to your incredible team.
If the, if you don’t have processes in place to help, um, and events and challenges, especially to help your team invite people that will expose them to the team, expose ’em to the company, expose ’em to the products, uh, then start doing that because that will give people a way to, to invite people, to get into conversations with people, to be bringing in new customers, to be, be bringing in new team members, to be getting into enrollment conversations. And once they start seeing results, once they start seeing, okay, this is working, then your team will be much more motivated and will be more inspired to keep working, to keep building, to stick with it because they’re starting to see results. So I hope this is I I’ve dropped a, a, a ton of value in here, and I’ve given you a ton of ideas.
