5 Reasons Your Network Marketing Posts Are Being Ignored (And How to Fix Each One)

    Table of Contents

You post a photo. Three likes. You share a tip. Zero comments. You pour your heart into a caption that took you 45 minutes to write.

    Crickets.

And after a few weeks of that you start thinking, what is even the point? Nobody’s seeing this. Social media just doesn’t work for me.

Here’s what I need you to understand before you give up.

Low engagement is not a sign that social media doesn’t work. It’s a sign that something specific in your strategy needs adjusting.

And it’s almost never a big thing. It’s a few small tweaks that make a massive difference.

The 5 Reasons Your Posts Are Being Ignored

Before we get into the fixes, I want you to be honest with yourself about which of these apply to you. Most people are dealing with more than one.

Reason 1: You’re talking to everyone so you’re connecting with no one.

Your content is too generic. It’s not specific enough to make anyone feel like you’re speaking directly to them.

Reason 2: You’re posting at people instead of for them.

Your content is about what you want to say, not what your audience needs to hear. There’s a big difference.

Reason 3: You’re not giving people a reason to respond.

Your posts are statements, not conversations. No hook, no question, no invitation to engage.

Reason 4: You’re not engaging with others.

Social media is a two way street. If you’re not commenting on other people’s content, don’t expect them to comment on yours.

Reason 5: You haven’t been consistent long enough.

You posted for two weeks, got discouraged, and stopped. Two weeks isn’t enough for the algorithm or your audience to take you seriously.

Now let’s fix every single one.

    Fix 1: Nail Your Hooks

The first line of your post is the most important line you’ll write.

You have about 1.5 seconds to stop someone from scrolling. That’s it.

And if your first line doesn’t grab them, nothing else matters because they’re already gone.

Here’s what a bad hook looks like.

    • “Happy Monday everyone.”
    • “I just wanted to share something.”
    • “So I’ve been thinking.”

These are invisible. Nobody stops scrolling for these unless they already know you, like you, and trust you.

Here’s what a good hook looks like.

    • “I almost quit my business last month. Here’s why I didn’t.”
    • “Stop doing this one thing on social media. It’s killing your reach.”
    • “Nobody talks about this side of network marketing.”
    • “The worst advice I ever got from my upline was…”

See the difference? Good hooks create curiosity. They open a loop in the reader’s brain that can only be closed by reading more.

They make someone think wait, what? I need to read this.

Spend 80 percent of your time on the hook. It really is that important.

    Use pattern interrupts too.

The social media feed is a sea of sameness.

    A bold controversial statement.
A photo that’s different from what you normally post.
A video where you start mid-sentence or mid-emotion.

Text on screen that asks a provocative question.

Starting a reel with “don’t do this” instead of “do this.”

Anything that makes someone’s thumb stop moving, that’s the pattern interrupt and it’s the key to getting your content seen.

Fix 2: Write for One Person, Not Everyone

Here’s something that feels counterintuitive but works every single time.

The more specific your content is, the more people it resonates with.

Stop thinking about what to post for your audience and start thinking about one specific person.

Give her a name. Picture her face.

What is she struggling with today?
What does she need to hear right now?

This is what we call your avatar inside Beach Boss Influencers.

And when you write for that one person, your content becomes incredibly specific and relatable.

Specificity creates the “she’s talking directly to me” feeling, and that’s what makes people stop, read, comment, and share.

Before every single post ask yourself three questions.

    Who is this for?
What are they feeling right now?
What do they need to hear?

It sounds simple. It changes everything.

Fix 3: End Every Post With a Question or Call to Action

This one sounds almost too obvious but I see people skip it constantly.

You write a great caption, share a powerful story, and then just… end it.

No question. No invitation. Nothing for the reader to do next.

Always end your post with something that invites a response.

    • “Have you ever felt this way? Tell me in the comments.”
    • “What’s your biggest struggle with this? I want to hear.”
    • “Drop a hand up if this resonates.”
    • “Which one are you – A or B? Share below. I read every comment.”

You have to tell people what to do.

Most people won’t engage unless you explicitly invite them to.

Not because they don’t care, but because they’re scrolling fast and they need a prompt that reminds their brain oh yeah, I want to respond to this.

Train your audience to know there’s always going to be something for them to do on your posts. That consistency builds a habit and habits build engagement.

Fix 4: Engage Before You Post

Here’s a ninja trick that most people skip completely.

Before you publish your next post, spend 10 to 30 minutes engaging with other people’s content first.

And here’s the specific hack inside that hack, use 140 characters in your comments.

Not a heart emoji, not “love this,” but a real 140 character response that shows you actually read the post.

I have tested it over and over. The difference it makes is wild.

    Here’s why it works.

The algorithm tracks your activity. When you’re actively commenting and engaging, the platform thinks this person is active right now, let’s show their next post to more people.

So you engage for 10 to 30 minutes, then drop your content. You’ll notice a significant boost in reach every time.

Engage with the right people too.

Make a hot list of 20 people you want to build a relationship with this month.

Potential customers, potential teammates, people who’ve been consistently showing up on your content.

Every day, make sure at least a few of your comments and story replies go to those people.

You’re building strategic relationships, not just randomly commenting into the void.

Reply to every comment you receive.

When someone takes the time to comment on your post, don’t just like it and move on.

Reply with a genuine response that keeps the conversation going.

If someone says “I needed this today,” don’t just say thank you.

Say “I’m so glad it resonated, what’s going on in your world right now? I’d love to hear more.”

Every reply signals to the algorithm that your post is sparking conversation, which makes it show your content to more people.

And every reply deepens the relationship with that person. It’s a win on both sides.

Fix 5: Stop Making Your Promo Posts Feel Like Ads

Here’s the specific problem with promotional posts and why they get zero engagement.

They feel like ads. And people are trained to scroll past ads. We all do it.

So here’s how to make your promotional content actually generate engagement instead.

    Promote through polls and questions.

Instead of “I love this product, it changed my skin, DM me for details” try this:

“Skincare people – what’s your biggest frustration?

    1. A) Fine lines that won’t quit.
      B) Dullness no matter what you do.
      C) Breakouts as an adult.
      D) All of the above.

Comment below and I’ll share what worked for me.”

That’s technically a promotional post but it feels like a conversation.

People engage because you asked about their problem and humans love sharing their opinions.

Use the results without revealing method.

Share a transformation or result without immediately naming the product or company.

    Something like:

“I’ve been doing something different for the last 90 days and the results are honestly kind of shocking.

My energy is up, my skin is clearer, and I’ve lost 8 pounds without changing my diet.

I’ll share exactly what I’ve been doing in the comments, if anyone’s curious just drop a 🔥 below.”

    Then watch what happens.

    People drop the emoji.
    They comment.
    They DM you.

And every single one of those is a warm lead, someone who literally asked you to tell them about your product.

That’s a completely different energy than cold messaging someone who never asked.

    The testimonial takeover.

One of the highest engaging types of promotional content is not your results, it’s other people’s results.

When a customer or teammate gets a win, ask if you can share it.

Screenshot their message with permission, black out their name, and share their before and after.

    Format it like this:

“I have to brag on my girl for a second. She started 60 days ago feeling [how she felt]. Look at her now – [results].

    I’m so proud of her.

If you want to be my next success story, comment SUCCESS below and let’s chat.”

That post gets comments, shares, and DMs every single time.

    Because it’s social proof.

People trust other customers more than they trust the person selling, it’s the same reason we all read Amazon reviews before we buy anything.

The Thing I Really Want You to Take Away

Engagement is a skill. It’s not a talent you’re born with.

Nobody starts out knowing how to write a hook that stops a scroll or a caption that gets 50 comments.

It’s something you learn, practice, and get better at over time.

The people you see with hundreds of comments on their posts were once exactly where you are right now – posting to crickets, wondering if anyone was even listening, seriously considering giving up.

    They just didn’t stop.

And I don’t want you to stop either.

    Here’s your 30 day challenge.

    • Post five times a week using the Grow, Engage and Promote framework.
    • Use a strong hook on every single post.
    • End every post with a question or call to action.
    • Engage before you post every day using the 140 character method.
    • Reply to every comment within two hours.

And commit to 90 days before you judge your results, because consistency compounds and two weeks isn’t enough to see what’s possible.

    Track your engagement numbers weekly.

At the end of 30 days compare where you started.

If you follow this system you will see a significant increase in reach, comments, DMs, and real conversations.

And that’s what actually grows your business.

Between soccer practice, making dinner, bedtime routines, and a full time job, when exactly are you supposed to build a business on social media?

If that question makes you want to close this tab, stay with me.

Because I’m not here to tell you to wake up earlier, sacrifice your Netflix time, or hustle harder. That advice is tired and honestly? It’s not helpful.

What I am going to show you is that building your network marketing business on social media takes way less time than you think when you have a system.

Here’s the thing nobody says out loud: it’s not a time problem. It’s a plan problem.

The Real Problem (It’s Not What You Think)

Go open your phone right now and check your screen time. Go to settings and look at how much time you spent on social media last week.

For most people it’s somewhere between two and four hours per day.

And you still feel like you have no time to build your business.

    Here’s why…

You’re spending that time consuming – scrolling through other people’s reels, reading comments on posts that have nothing to do with your goals, deep in someone’s vacation photos from 2019.

Not creating. Not building. Just scrolling.

And on the days you do sit down to post? You spend 45 minutes trying to figure out what to say.

You draft a caption, delete it, rewrite it, delete it again, and eventually give up having produced absolutely nothing.

That’s not a time problem. That’s an efficiency problem.

What if you took just 30 of those daily scroll minutes and redirected them intentionally? You’re not adding to your day. You’re just redirecting time you’re already spending.

Here’s what that looks like with a real system behind it.

The Grow Phase: 10 Minutes a Day

The Sunday Sprint (30 minutes, once a week)

The biggest time saver you can give yourself is to stop creating content in the moment.

When I started batching my content once a week, everything changed.

No more lying in bed at 11pm thinking oh no I forgot to post.

Set aside 30 minutes on a Sunday – or whatever day works for you – and block it in your calendar like a meeting. In that one session, plan out your content for the entire week.

Here’s what one week of content looks like:

    • Three grow posts – educational tips, relatable stories, or short videos.
    • Two engagement posts – questions, polls, this or that.
    • One promo post – a product story with a soft call to action.
    • One wildcard – something fun or personal from your week.

Write your captions. Take your photos. Jot down your video talking points. Then when Monday morning comes and you’ve got two minutes before the kids wake up, you copy, paste, and post. Done.

Or schedule the whole week inside LeadMagicX and don’t think about it again until next Sunday.

    The Two Minute Post Method

On the days when life goes completely sideways, and it will, use the two minute post method. These are posts that require almost zero thought.

A selfie with one sentence about your day. A quote that resonates with you plus one line about why. A hot take or unpopular opinion in your niche. A photo of your coffee or morning routine with a quick caption.

These aren’t your best content. They’re your consistency content. They keep you visible, keep the algorithm happy, and keep the lights on in your business. They take less time than brushing your teeth.

    Repurpose Everything

You are not starting from scratch every single day.

That post you wrote on Facebook? Copy it to Instagram.

That story you shared on Tuesday? Turn it into a reel on Thursday.

That comment you left in a Facebook group that got 20 likes? That’s a post.

One idea becomes three pieces of content. That’s how busy people stay consistent.

Time investment: 30 minutes on Sunday for batching plus two minutes daily for posting.

The Engage Phase: 15 Minutes a Day

This is where most people waste the most time because they confuse scrolling with engaging. They are not the same thing.

    The Power Fifteen

Set a timer for 15 minutes and do only this.

Go to your notifications and reply to every comment on your posts. Reply to every DM.

These people already raised their hand, don’t leave them hanging.

Then go to five posts from people in your target audience and leave a real, meaningful comment. Not just a heart emoji. Something that shows you actually read the post.

Then reply to five stories or drop into a Facebook group where your ideal audience is hanging out and add genuine value to a conversation.

Timer goes off. You close the app and go live your life.

    Use Dead Time

You already have pockets of time throughout your day that you’re filling with mindless scrolling.

Waiting in the school pickup line. Sitting in a waiting room. Lunch break. Dinner in the oven.

That is your engagement time. You don’t need to carve out a special block.

You just need to be intentional with time you’re already on your phone.

Instead of scrolling the explore page, go comment on five posts.

Instead of watching random reels, go reply to stories. Same time spent. Completely different results.

    Create a Hot List

Make a list of 20 people you want to build a relationship with this month.

Potential customers, potential teammates, people who’ve been consistently engaging with your content.

Every day during your power fifteen, make sure at least two or three of your comments or story replies go to those people.

This keeps your engagement strategic instead of scattered. You’re building real relationships, not just randomly commenting into the void.

Time investment: 15 focused minutes per day. That’s it.

The Promote Phase: 10 to 15 Minutes a Week

The promote phase takes the least amount of time because you’re only doing it once or twice a week.

The While You’re Doing It Method

The fastest promotional content is content you capture in the moment. You’re already using your products – about to take your supplements, just finished a team call, got a result you’re excited about.

Pull out your phone right then. Ten second video. Quick story. Snap a photo.

You’re not staging a photo shoot. You’re not scripting a commercial. You’re just documenting what’s already happening. Zero extra time required.

    Template Your Promo Post

Create a simple fill-in-the-blank template and save it in your notes app so you never start from scratch. Something like this:

“[Time period] ago I was struggling with [problem]. I started using [thing] and now [result]. If you’re dealing with [problem] too, comment below and I’ll show you what’s been working for me.”

That template takes three minutes to fill in. Change the story each time but keep the structure. Done.

    The One Conversation Goal

Here’s your promotional goal for the week. Start one real conversation about your product or opportunity with one person who’s shown interest.

Not 50 cold DMs. Not a massive launch campaign. Just one genuine conversation per week.

    That’s 52 conversations in a year.

If even 10 percent of those turn into customers or teammates, that’s five new people in your business from spending 10 minutes a week on promotion.

Now imagine if you did one conversation a day. Think about where your team would be 365 days from now.

Time investment: 10 to 15 minutes per week.

    Your Total Daily Time Breakdown

Here’s the full picture when you add it all up:

    • Posting from your Sunday batch – 2 minutes.
    • Engagement power fifteen – 15 minutes.
    • Capturing content in the moment – 2 to 3 minutes.

    Daily total: roughly 20 minutes.

    Plus your weekly add-ons:

    • Sunday content sprint – 30 minutes.
    • Writing one promo post – 5 to 10 minutes.
    • One promotional conversation – 5 to 10 minutes.

    Weekly add-on: 45 minutes.

Average it out across the week and you’re looking at 30 minutes a day. The length of a sitcom episode. The time you’re already spending scrolling before bed.

You have the time. You always had the time. You just didn’t have the system.

    Your Challenge This Week

Time block these 30 minutes in your calendar right now.

Put them in like a meeting, because they are one. A meeting with your future self.

Decide when you’ll do your Sunday sprint.

Decide when you’ll do your power fifteen each day.

    And treat both like non-negotiables.

Nowhere in this plan did you need to sacrifice sleep.

Nowhere did you need to be online all day.

Nowhere did you need to miss a single soccer game or bedtime story.

This is a focused 30 minutes – in, out, business built, life lived.

  • You Don’t Need to Be Tech Savvy to Build a Network Marketing Business on Social Media

You Don’t Need to Be Tech Savvy to Build a Network Marketing Business on Social Media

    Table of Contents

When someone tells you to “just get on social media and start creating content,” does it feel like someone handed you the controls of a 747 and said fly it? It’s easy.

Yeah. That was me in 2016.

I couldn’t even copy and paste when I started building my business online. Not a joke. And today I’ve helped over 350,000 network marketers build their businesses on social media and recruited over 3,000 people into my own team.

The secret wasn’t becoming a tech wizard. It was finding a simple system and being willing to show up imperfectly.

Here’s what nobody tells you: you do not need to be tech savvy to build a network marketing business on social media. You need a simple system, a few basic skills, and the willingness to be a real human on the internet. That’s it.

The Real Reason You’re Stuck (It’s Not the Tech)

When most people say “I’m not tech savvy,” what they actually mean is one of three things.

They’re afraid of looking stupid. They don’t know where to start. Or they’ve tried before and it felt like a disaster – bad lighting, a graphic that looked like a ransom note, accidentally going live when they meant to take a photo.

None of those are permanent problems. They’re learning curves. And the learning curve is a lot shorter than you think.

Every person you see crushing it on social media right now posted a terrible first reel. Every single one of them had a phase where they had no idea what a hashtag did. They just didn’t let it stop them.

The tech is not the barrier. The fear of the tech is the barrier.

Step 1: Grow – Get Seen by New People (No Fancy Tools Required)

The whole point of the grow phase is expanding your audience and getting in front of people who don’t already know you.

You don’t need fancy tools to do it. You need to show up consistently with content that helps or inspires people. That’s it.

Pick one platform and master it.

Right now Instagram is giving the most organic – meaning free – reach, especially with Reels.

If your audience is 30 and over, start there.

Hook your Instagram to your Facebook and let it cross-post automatically. That’s two platforms for the effort of one.

Stop trying to be everywhere. Pick one. Get comfortable. Expand later.

Learn just three things on that platform.

How to write a text post. How to post a photo with a caption. How to record a short Reel.

Those three skills will carry you further than you think.

You don’t need transitions, trending audio, professional lighting, or fancy editing. You need your face and your voice out there.

Use the ugly first draft method.

Give yourself permission to be bad at this.

Your first ten posts are going to be rough. Your first video will feel awkward. That’s fine because nobody’s really watching yet.

You’re building the muscle. The only way to get good is to go through the bad phase first, and the faster you embrace that, the faster you get to the other side.

Step 2: Engage – Build Real Relationships (Zero Tech Skills Needed)

Here’s the beautiful thing about the engage phase. It requires absolutely zero tech skills. Engagement is just talking to people, and you already know how to do that.

    Start with the 5-5-5 method.

Comment on five posts from people you’d love to connect with – real, genuine comments, not just a heart emoji.

Reply to five stories by tapping the text bar and typing a response, it’s literally like sending a text.

Spend five minutes in a Facebook group where your ideal audience hangs out and leave helpful comments on someone’s post.

That’s fifteen minutes total. You can do it while your coffee brews.

    Ask questions on your posts.

You don’t need a perfectly edited graphic to start a conversation. Just type a question.

What’s one thing you wish you had more time for? Coffee or tea – wrong answers only. What’s the best piece of advice you’ve ever received?

These take seconds to write and get people talking on your profile, which is exactly what you want.

Respond to every comment and DM.

When someone takes the time to engage with your content, respond every single time.

This isn’t a tech skill. It’s a people skill. And it’s the one that matters the most.

Think of every comment as someone raising their hand saying hey, I see you. Your job is to say hey, I see you too.

Step 3: Promote – Share What You Have (With Your Phone Camera and a Caption)

Forget funnels, email automations, and landing pages for now. You don’t need any of that to start.

    The “what I use” post.

Take a photo of you actually using your product, not a stock image from your company, just you in your kitchen or at your desk using the thing.

Write a caption like: “A lot of people ask me about this. Here’s what I’ve been using for the last [time period] and honestly [result you’ve experienced]. If you want more details just comment below and I’ll send you the info.”

    That’s it. No app required.

    Use voice DMs.

If typing long messages feels overwhelming, use voice messages instead. When someone shows interest, hold down the microphone button and talk.

Say something like: “Hey, I saw you commented on my post – I’m so glad! Let me tell you a little about what I’ve been using and you can tell me if it sounds like a fit.”

Voice messages are personal, warm, and they convert incredibly well because people can hear your genuine enthusiasm.

    Go live for five minutes.

No editing, no filters, no do-overs. Set a timer. Share one tip, one story, or one thing you love about your product.

The rawness is what makes it work. As the world goes more AI and more polished, people crave real.

And here’s a secret – barely anyone watches lives in real time. Most people watch the replay. So even if zero people show up live it still becomes a piece of content that keeps working for you.

Just make sure you save it because lives only last 30 days now.

    Your Simple 7-Day Content Plan

Write it down, stick it on your fridge, and follow it for 30 days.

    Monday

Nothing on this list requires a single app download.

Nothing requires you to understand algorithms or SEO or any of that.

Just your phone, your face, and a little consistency.

You Don’t Get Good and Then Start. You Start and Then Get Good

The people you’re watching blow up on social media right now weren’t born knowing how to do this. They just started before they felt ready.

If you’ve been sitting on the sidelines using “I’m not tech savvy” as the reason you haven’t shown up yet, this is your push. Said with all the love.

Your network marketing business deserves to be seen. And the phone already in your hand is everything you need to make that happen.

If you want a complete step-by-step system for building your network marketing business on social media without needing to become a professional content creator, grab the free Social Influencer Formula. Gratitude: The Secret Ingredient You’ve Been Overlooking

Let’s be honest, most of us don’t think about gratitude when we’re trying to grow a business.

We think strategy, sales, systems, and maybe a touch of caffeine.

But here’s the truth: gratitude isn’t just a feel-good emotion; it’s a powerful business tool.

Science backs it up. When you focus on gratitude, your brain literally rewires itself.

You activate your prefrontal cortex, the part responsible for decision-making, problem-solving, and emotional regulation.

Plus, gratitude floods your body with dopamine and serotonin, your natural “feel-good” chemicals.

So what does that mean for you as an entrepreneur?

You become more creative, more resilient, and better able to see opportunities others miss.

When challenges hit (and they always do), gratitude keeps you grounded.

Instead of spiraling into frustration, you’re able to reframe setbacks as lessons.

In fact, studies show people who regularly practice gratitude are 25% more optimistic, sleep better, and have stronger immune systems.

But here’s the gold: they’re also more likely to take action toward their goals.

So if you’ve ever wondered why some entrepreneurs bounce back faster, stay more consistent, and seem to “attract” success, here’s your answer.

    Gratitude isn’t fluff. It’s focus.

And it might just be the secret ingredient your business has been missing.

From Scarcity to Abundance: The Mindset Shift That Changes Everything

For years, many of us built our businesses from a place of scarcity, stressing about what wasn’t working, the clients we didn’t have, or the goals we hadn’t hit.

Sound familiar? We’ve been there too.

When you’re focused on lack, your brain goes into survival mode.

You operate from fear and make decisions from pressure, not purpose.

It’s exhausting and it’s exactly why so many entrepreneurs burn out before they ever see results.

But here’s the shift: when you focus on gratitude, you naturally move from scarcity into abundance.

You start noticing what is working, the people already supporting you, the lessons learned, the progress made.

That gratitude opens space for new opportunities because you’re no longer clouded by fear.

Cari built her business from her mother-in-law’s basement… not exactly glamorous.

But when she shifted from scarcity thinking to daily gratitude, everything changed.

Clients appeared, momentum grew, and doors started opening that weren’t visible before.

Gratitude changes your energy. And energy attracts.

When you show up with appreciation and trust that things are working for you, not against you, you begin making bold moves instead of desperate ones.

You stop chasing and start magnetizing.

Remember: abundance isn’t about having it all, it’s about realizing how much you already have.

Building Stronger Teams and Happier Clients Through Gratitude

Whether you’re leading a team, mentoring new business partners, or serving clients, gratitude is one of the most powerful tools for connection and retention.

When you lead with gratitude, you create a culture where people feel seen and valued.

Studies show that teams who feel appreciated are 31% more productive and 37% better at sales, and they’re three times more likely to stay.

    We’ve seen this firsthand.

In our business, we started every monthly team meeting with “shout-outs”, a few minutes where everyone gets to express gratitude for someone else.

It completely changed our company culture. People lit up. Collaboration grew. And results followed.

    The same applies to customers.

When you thank them for their trust, celebrate their wins, and genuinely appreciate their business, you stop being just another salesperson, you become someone they want to buy from again and again.

Gratitude turns transactions into relationships and relationships into loyalty.

So whether you’re sending a thank-you message to a customer, acknowledging your team’s hard work, or simply celebrating small wins, remember: gratitude builds people, and people build business.

Daily Gratitude Practices That Will Rewire Your Business (and Your Brain)

You don’t need a huge time investment to make gratitude a habit, just a few intentional minutes each day.

Here are a few ways to get started:

    1. The Daily Three.

Every morning (or night), jot down three things you’re grateful for in your business – a new customer, a great conversation, or simply the fact that you have the freedom to build something meaningful.

    2. Gratitude Check-Ins.

Don’t just reach out when you need something.

Send genuine appreciation messages to your clients or team.

You’ll be amazed at how this strengthens relationships.

    3. Team Appreciation Rituals.

Begin meetings by sharing one thing you’re grateful for.

We do this in our Beach Boss team, and it’s become everyone’s favorite part of the meeting.

    4. Reframe Setbacks.

When something goes wrong, ask, “What can I be grateful for here?”

Maybe it’s a lesson learned or a weakness revealed.

Gratitude keeps you from getting stuck.

    5. Celebrate Wins.

Stop moving the goalpost without celebrating how far you’ve come.

    Acknowledge the progress.

Gratitude compounds – the more you practice it, the more you’ll naturally look for the good.

Because here’s the truth: your business is a reflection of your mindset.

When you lead with gratitude, you’re not just building a profitable business, you’re building a joyful, sustainable, meaningful one.

  • Sleep Struggles, Deja Vu & Total Chaos | Beaches Unleashed Episode #1

Sleep Struggles, Deja Vu & Total Chaos | Beaches Unleashed Episode #1

    Table of Contents

We’re ditching the business talk and letting the conversation go wherever it wants.

This week? It went off the rails – from Daylight Savings disasters to wild government-drone dreams, deja vu moments, and the kind of sleep deprivation that has us questioning reality.

    Facebook
    Twitter
    LinkedIn

    Is Anyone Actually Sleeping Anymore?

It started, as all good chaos does, with one question: Who else can’t sleep right now?

Every single one of us raised our hands.

Between the time change, the early sunsets, and the kids who refuse to honor “extra hour” rules, no one’s sleeping and everyone’s slightly feral.

Fran’s over in the UK trying to stay awake past 3 p.m. without toothpicks holding her eyelids up.

Meanwhile, in the States, it’s dark before dinner, and every mom on the call is wondering how we got trapped in an eternal 5:30 p.m. twilight zone.

The truth? Daylight Savings is the world’s biggest scam.

We lose sleep, our kids wake up earlier, and suddenly it feels like bedtime at 6 p.m. while we’re still cooking dinner.

We all agreed it’s complete madness – yet somehow, every year, we act surprised when it wrecks our lives again.

And don’t even get us started on the immunity thing.

The time change hits, the germs start circulating, and before you know it, half the family’s down with the “seasonal plague.”

    Conclusion: No one’s okay.

But at least we’re all not-okay together.

    Fran’s Nightmare or Netflix Plot?

Then came the dream. Oh, the dream.

Fran woke up in a panic after what can only be described as a government-conspiracy-meets-action-thriller-nightmare.

There were drones, hidden cameras, secret towns, and an escape that started on a bus that turned into a boat. (Yes, you read that right.)

She jumped off the boat, swam to shore, snuck into her own house under surveillance, and eventually ended up living in a new town – all while trying to find her daughter and avoid the authorities.

The rest of us? Crying laughing.

“Fran, that’s not a dream,” Adrian said. “That’s a Netflix original waiting to happen.”

We decided it’s called Franville, coming soon to a UK town near you.

Somewhere between the fear of being “tracked by drones” and Fran’s husband showing up asleep on a rowing machine, it became clear: the dream wasn’t about the government.

It was about stress. The kind that sneaks into your subconscious and turns your worries into blockbuster scripts.

Still, if Hollywood’s listening – we’ll happily take producer credits.

Are We All Losing It or Is This Deja Vu?

Once we stopped laughing (sort of), the conversation spiraled into a talk about dreams, deja vu, and whether we’re all slowly losing our grip on reality.

Turns out, we’ve all been having weird, vivid dreams lately – the kind that feel so real you wake up sweating.

Maybe it’s the lack of sleep, maybe it’s energy shifts, maybe it’s Stranger Things marathons.

    Who knows.

Cari confessed she’s been running from Demogorgons in her sleep.

Fran swears she’s being watched by drones.

And Adrian keeps getting déjà vu so often she’s convinced we’re all living the same week on repeat.

It’s that strange blend of humor and honesty that somehow makes you feel… seen.

Because let’s face it, between exhaustion, anxiety, and the general weirdness of life right now, we’re all having our “Truman Show” moments.

But hey, at least we can laugh about it while questioning everything.

Beaches Unleashed: The Chaos You Didn’t Know You Needed

By the end, we realized this episode was something different. Something fun. Something… unleashed.

We didn’t plan it. We didn’t script it.

We just showed up – tired, real, a little weird – and hit record.

    And honestly? It felt good.

Sometimes, you need to step away from strategy, systems, and serious conversations and just connect – to laugh, to vent, to share the kind of nonsense that makes you feel human again.

So here’s to more off-the-cuff chaos, wild dreams, and conversations that go absolutely nowhere but somehow make your day better.

Because if the Beaches have learned anything from Daylight Savings, bad dreams, and déjà vu, it’s that a little laughter can fix almost anything.

The Brutal Truth About Success, Failure, and Leadership in Network Marketing with John Melton

    Table of Contents

When it comes to building a business that lasts in network marketing, everyone’s looking for the secret – the shortcut, the strategy, the “one thing” that guarantees success.

But the truth? There’s no magic button.

Real growth comes from real experience, and no one knows that better than John Melton.

We sat down with John for a raw, honest conversation about what it actually takes to make it in this industry – from his wild beginnings before social media even existed, to leading teams that have generated millions in sales.

John gets real about the mistakes, the mindset, and the evolution of network marketing and what still matters most, no matter how much technology changes.

So let’s dive into the brutal truth about success, failure, and leadership in network marketing.

How John Melton Found His Way into Network Marketing

When we sat down with John Melton, one of the most respected leaders in network marketing, we knew we were in for some real talk.

    And he didn’t disappoint.

John’s story starts way before social media and online funnels, back when success in this business looked a lot different.

He laughs as he admits, “I was twenty years old, broke, lost, always getting into trouble, drinking, fighting… I was a total mess.”

But then came a moment that changed everything – a friend invited him to a network marketing presentation.

“They talked about apples – red, green, and rotten – and I was hooked. I thought everyone would want to do this. It just made sense.”

What John didn’t realize was that his journey would be full of highs and lows.

Back then, there was no Facebook or Instagram. Building your business meant showing up at “briefings” – in-person meetings five days a week, where you’d bring guests and sit through hours of the same presentation.

“I was that guy filling the back row with my friends,” he says, “but I refused to speak. I thought all I had to do was drag bodies to the room.”

He quickly learned that wasn’t enough.

The process was brutal, full of rejection, and honestly, not fun.

But that’s where John’s foundation was built – through those tough lessons and old-school grind.

He admits, “What worked back then doesn’t always work now. But the mindset – the hunger, the persistence – that’s the same. That’s what got me here.”

The Evolution of the Industry: What’s Changed (and What Never Will)

When John talks about how much the industry has evolved, you can hear both gratitude and grit in his voice.

“The last five years have been wild,” he says. “Between TikTok, Reels, and the pandemic, everything changed overnight.”

While others scrambled to figure out Zoom or online systems, John’s team was already ahead of the curve.

“We were already building online. When Covid hit, we just kept going and we exploded. But I’ll tell you what really changed: noise. There’s so much of it now. Everyone’s online, selling, pitching, posting. So you have to be better.”

He shared how his team experimented early with TikTok. “We posted 120 videos in 60 days, just to prove it worked. And it did. We built a huge following.”

But even with all the innovation, John reminds us the heart of network marketing hasn’t changed.

“It’s still a relationship business,” he says. “People do business with people they know, like, and trust. That’ll never go away.”

He also shared how authenticity is now more powerful than ever.

“Ten years ago, they told you never to talk about politics or religion. Now? People crave the real you. They’re tired of fluff. They want to know what you believe.”

That shift – from polished to personal – has redefined what leadership looks like. John says, “If you can show up authentically, stay respectful, and lead with integrity, people will follow you. Always.”

Real Talk on AI, Authenticity, and Building True Human Connection

When we asked John about AI and automation, he didn’t hold back.

“AI is great – for research, for ideas – but don’t you dare copy and paste what it gives you,” he laughs. “People can smell fake a mile away.”

He told us about a message he got from someone who asked for feedback on a post.

“She said, ‘What do you think of this?’ and I said, ‘Doesn’t matter what I think, it matters what your audience thinks.’ Then I asked if she wrote it. She said, ‘No, ChatGPT did.’ And I said, ‘Then don’t post it.’”

For John, the real secret to success isn’t in automation, it’s in connection.

“You can’t automate mentorship. You can’t automate relationships,” he says. “If you’re not talking to people, not checking in, not building trust – you’re missing it.”

He reminds us that this business is about being human first, marketer second.

“Stop spending three hours on a post nobody reads. Spend that time actually talking to people.”

    It’s simple, but powerful.

“When people feel seen and supported, they’ll follow you. That’s what makes the difference – not fancy funnels or perfect captions. Be a real person. Build real relationships. That’s what lasts.”

The Mindset That Separates Leaders from the Rest

As we wrapped up, John dropped the kind of truth bomb every entrepreneur needs to hear: “It’s not the most talented people who win in this business, it’s the ones who stick it out.”

He’s seen it all – companies shut down overnight, teams fall apart, paychecks disappear.

But what separates the ones who keep winning is how they respond.

“You can’t control the plot twists, but you can control your mindset,” he says. “I’ve had six-figure checks vanish, but instead of saying, ‘Why me?’ I said, ‘Okay, what’s next?’”

He credits his resilience to faith and perspective.

“Every time something hard happens, I know it’s setting me up for something bigger. Sometimes it’s God forcing us to move when we wouldn’t move ourselves.”

His biggest advice for anyone feeling stuck? Get around people who are winning.

“Go to events. Be in the room. You can’t build a fire from behind a screen. You’ve got to plug in, meet people who lift you higher, and remember why you started.”

John ends with this: “If you just keep doing the work, you will win. Not get rich quick, get rich eventually. But that’s better than get rich never.”

And that, friends, is what this industry is all about – grit, growth, and becoming the kind of leader others want to follow.

  • How to Keep Your Network Marketing Momentum Rolling Through the Holidays

How to Keep Your Network Marketing Momentum Rolling Through the Holidays

    Table of Contents

The holidays are almost here and while the lights, laughter, and celebrations bring so much joy, they can also bring one of the biggest slowdowns in your business if you’re not careful.

We get it… between the shopping, cooking, family gatherings, and trying to squeeze in every holiday event, your business can start to feel like something you’ll “get back to” in January.

But here’s the truth: when you hit pause now, you’re not just taking a break… you’re losing momentum that takes weeks (sometimes months) to rebuild.

So we’re sharing how to keep your business rolling like a holiday train: steady, strong, and without sacrificing the things (and people) that matter most.

Why Most Network Marketers Lose Steam When the Holidays Hit

We’ve all said it before: “I’ll pick things back up after the holidays.”

It feels innocent enough until January comes, and you realize you’re starting from scratch.

The messages have gone quiet, your consistency has slipped, and your audience’s attention has moved on.

Momentum in business is like a train, it takes a ton of effort to get it moving, but once it’s rolling, it’s unstoppable.

    The problem?

Every time you hit the brakes (like taking December off), you’ve got to rebuild that power all over again.

That’s why we want to help you keep your business in motion even during the busiest season.

You can slow the pace a bit, absolutely, but don’t let it stop completely.

Because what you do this month fuels your results next month (and beyond).

How to Keep Your Business Moving (Without Working 24/7)

Let’s be honest, nobody wants to spend the holidays glued to their phone.

But what if your business could keep running in the background while you’re baking cookies, wrapping gifts, or watching your kid’s Christmas performance?

That’s the power of building smart systems.

When you use automation, content planning, and strategic workflows, your business doesn’t rely on you constantly being “on.”

You can have conversations, nurture leads, and build relationships without being tied to Messenger all day.

Fran shared how she used to stop everything in December, only to realize how hard it was to start again in January.

Once she learned how to let her business keep rolling with systems, everything changed.

Her audience stayed warm, her business stayed visible, and she didn’t lose precious time with her family.

That’s the balance we want for you: a thriving business and a peaceful holiday season.

The Power of One-to-Many Conversations (and Why They Change Everything)

If you’re still relying only on one-to-one conversations, we’ve got good news – there’s a better way.

One-to-one chats are powerful, but they’re also time-consuming.

Instead, imagine speaking to many people at once through workshops, challenges, or group events.

When you shift from one-to-one to one-to-many, you multiply your reach without multiplying your effort.

You’re no longer chasing, you’re attracting.

Think of hosting a simple three-day challenge or a mini holiday workshop where your dream teammates and customers come to you.

You give massive value, and at the end, those who are ready raise their hands to join.

And here’s where the real magic happens, you can automate nearly all of it.

From sign-ups to follow-ups to even personalized messages, AI and automation can handle the heavy lifting so you can focus on connection and celebration.

Use AI + Automation to Keep Momentum (and Your Sanity) This Season

Here’s the truth: you can have both a business that grows and a holiday season you enjoy.

AI and automation tools make it possible.

Whether it’s scheduling content, writing posts, sending personalized invites, or running follow-ups while you’re sipping cocoa, it’s all possible now.

Our Beach Boss community uses AI every day to simplify and scale their businesses and it’s a total game-changer.

You can virtually automate 90% of the process so that new teammates are joining your team while you’re out living your life.

You don’t need to grind harder this holiday season; you just need a better system.

Let’s get real… if you’ve been following your upline’s advice to the letter and still not seeing results, it’s not because you’re lazy or bad at this business.

It’s because what used to work doesn’t work the same way anymore.

At Beach Boss Influencers, we help network marketers, affiliate marketers, and home-based entrepreneurs build businesses they love online without feeling spammy, burnt out, or invisible.

And we’re pulling back the curtain on why your upline’s advice might be holding you back (even if you love them) and what you can do instead to actually start growing again.

Why Your Upline’s Advice Isn’t Working Anymore (And Why It’s Not Your Fault)

Here’s the truth, your upline’s advice probably did work… for them.

    But times have changed.

Back when social media was brand new, simply messaging everyone you knew and posting product photos could grow your business.

But now? That same advice turns you into a walking sales pitch and people scroll right past.

If you’re spamming your friends and family, getting ghosted, and starting to dread your own DMs… it’s not because you’re bad at this.

It’s because the system is outdated.

You’re trying to use 2010 strategies in 2025 and the math just doesn’t add up.

Today, success in network marketing requires two things: a growing network of people who actually want what you have, and real influence over that audience.

Without those two, you’re just shouting into the void.

    So take a breath.

You’re not broken. The industry isn’t broken.

You’ve just outgrown the old way and that’s a good thing.

The Two Things Every Network Marketer Needs to Build Real Success

We learned this the hard way.

After years of doing all the things (chasing friends, hosting parties, cold messaging strangers) we realized that real success comes down to two simple things: building an audience and building influence.

You can’t sell to people who don’t trust you, and you can’t build trust if you’re only talking about your product.

When we stopped trying to convince everyone to join us and instead started serving the people already looking for what we offered, everything changed.

That’s when we stopped being “that girl” people avoided and started being the leaders people sought out.

    It’s about connection over conversion.

When your audience feels like you get them, you don’t need to chase, they start coming to you.

And here’s the key: your influence doesn’t come from rank or results.

It comes from how you show up, the value you give, the energy you bring, and the consistency you build.

Stop Chasing Everyone, Start Attracting the Right Ones

Your upline might’ve told you, “Everyone is your prospect.”

But let’s be honest, everyone is not your prospect.

Not everyone needs your product, and not everyone wants your opportunity.

And the sooner you accept that, the sooner you’ll start seeing real traction.

When you stop trying to talk to everyone and start speaking directly to your ideal person – the one who actually wants what you’re offering – you become magnetic.

You go from shotgun blasting random messages to being a sniper with purpose.

We realized that when we stopped selling and started serving, people began reaching out to us.

They’d say things like, “I’ve been following you for months,” or “I love your posts, can you tell me more?”

That’s when it clicks: people don’t join companies. They join people.

When you lead with authenticity, share your story, and give value – your audience connects with you.

And that’s when the magic happens.

How to Become the Upline You Wish You Had

This part might sting a little… but it’s time to stop waiting for your upline to change.

If their advice isn’t working for you, it’s not your job to fix them, it’s your opportunity to become the leader you wish you had.

You don’t need to abandon your upline or bash their methods.

Just recognize that you’ve outgrown their playbook.

The strategies that worked in 1997 don’t work in 2025.

The leaders thriving now are the ones using systems, automation, and influence marketing to build smarter, not harder.

That’s why we created the Fire Your Upline Challenge – not to rebel, but to evolve.

It’s time to step into leadership, learn how to attract instead of chase, and become the kind of upline your future team is searching for.

Because when you learn a better way, you can’t unlearn it.

Once you’ve experienced the “business class” version of network marketing, you’ll never want to go back to economy again.

The Truth About the “Magic Button” Everyone’s Looking For in Network Marketing

    Table of Contents

Let’s be real, everyone wants the magic button.

That secret shortcut to success that’ll finally make their business explode without the hustle, the waiting, or the messy middle.

Maybe it’s a new course, a “perfect” funnel, or the latest AI tool that promises overnight results.

We’ve all been there, believing that this time it’s going to be easy.

But here’s the truth no one wants to hear: there is no magic button outside of you.

The real magic button is you – your consistency, your commitment, and your willingness to stay in the game when it’s uncomfortable.

Most people quit too soon. They jump from one shiny thing to the next, convincing themselves the last thing “didn’t work.”

But it’s not that the strategy didn’t work, it’s that they didn’t stick around long enough for it to show them it worked.

If that one stings a little, good. Because once you stop chasing shortcuts and start building belief in yourself, you realize that success was never about finding something new, it’s about becoming someone new.

Why Growth Takes Time (Even When You Can’t See It)

There’s a story we love – the bamboo story.

You plant bamboo, you water it, you feed it, and… nothing. For years.

You start to think the thing’s broken. You’ve prayed over it, spoken affirmations to it, and still crickets.

And then, in its fifth year, that bamboo shoots up four feet in one year. It explodes.

But here’s the thing: it wasn’t doing nothing for those first five years.

It was building roots deep below the surface, preparing to hold the massive growth that was coming.

That’s exactly what’s happening in your business.

Every skill you’re learning, every strategy you’re testing, every mindset shift you’re making – that’s root work.

It’s invisible for a while. But it’s necessary.

The problem is, most people never stick around long enough to see their bamboo grow.

They start comparing their timeline to someone else’s, forgetting that everyone’s soil is different.

Some people start with skills you’re still developing, and that’s okay.

The only person you need to compete with is the version of you from yesterday.

Your job isn’t to look at how fast someone else is growing, it’s to keep watering your bamboo.

Because your roots are forming, even when you can’t see them yet.

    The Real Magic Button

We’ve all done it… bought the course, watched the videos, taken notes, and then… did nothing.

It’s like we think consuming information is progress.

But your business doesn’t grow by watching someone else’s training, it grows when you take action.

And not just the easy action.

Everyone wants to do the comfortable stuff, the tasks that don’t risk rejection or discomfort.

But that’s not where transformation happens.

The magic button is found in the scary stuff, the things that push you outside your comfort zone.

You’re not missing a secret strategy; you’re missing consistent action.

The kind that feels awkward, clumsy, and uncomfortable at first.

You have to go through the “this doesn’t make sense yet” phase before things start clicking.

And yes, that phase sucks. Your family might tell you to quit, your results might not show up for a while, and you’ll question yourself a hundred times.

    But that’s the process.

The people who win aren’t the smartest or the luckiest, they’re the ones who stay in the game long enough for their effort to compound.

Because once you keep going through the uncomfortable, you start to change.

You care less about what others think and more about where you’re going.

And that’s when everything you touch finally starts turning into gold.

    From Uncomfortable to Unstoppable

Every entrepreneur goes through three stages on the path to success: uncomfortable, unbearable, and unstoppable.

The first stage – uncomfortable – is when everything feels awkward.

You’re learning, trying, failing, and repeating.

You feel like a beginner, and that’s okay. Everyone starts here.

Then comes the unbearable stage. This is where most people quit.

It feels like you’re trudging through mud, you’re doing all the things, but the results aren’t showing up.

It’s frustrating, exhausting, and it feels like nothing is working.

But this is where the magic happens.

Because right on the other side of “unbearable” is unstoppable.

That’s when the momentum kicks in. Your energy shifts. You stop overthinking and start trusting.

You become the kind of person who keeps going no matter what and the results finally start compounding.

Most people quit right before they break through.

They throw in the towel, start over, and end up stuck in a painful cycle of quitting and restarting.

But if you can recognize when you’re in that “unbearable” stage and just push through it, that’s when you finally hit your unstoppable season.

So the question is, what stage are you in right now?

Do the Work, Feel the Magic

Here’s the truth: your magic button was never a course, a strategy, or a system.

    It’s been you all along.

You don’t need to do more, you need to stick with what you’re doing long enough to let it work.

Because every uncomfortable action you take, every scary step forward, is shaping you into the kind of person who doesn’t just dream of success, she creates it.

    So stop chasing quick fixes.

    Keep watering your bamboo.

    Do the scary thing.

And when it feels unbearable, remember, that’s just the universe testing how bad you really want it.

The magic happens when you refuse to quit.

You’ve tried all the things – cold messaging, chasing friends and family, posting on social media – but your results aren’t matching your effort.

It’s frustrating, exhausting, and can make you question if the industry itself is broken.

We’re diving deep into whether it’s really the system or maybe… just maybe, it’s how you’re doing it.

    The Network Marketing Wake-Up Call

Let’s start with the hard truth: network marketing isn’t broken.

    Nope. Not at all.

    What’s changed is the landscape.

Since 2020, everything shifted online, and the old-school tactics that worked pre-pandemic just don’t cut it anymore.

    Cold messaging strangers? Forget it.

Chasing friends and family? Yeah, they’ve seen it a hundred times, and it’s exhausting for both you and them.

If you’re still building like it’s 2010, you’re going to struggle.

And trust us, you’re not alone.

A lot of marketers have watched their checks go backward for years.

But here’s the good news: the people thriving now? They’ve embraced the new way.

They’re building online – not by spamming links, but by attracting the right people.

They focus on serving, not pushing, and they understand that automation, systems, and even AI are the keys to scaling without burnout.

So, no, the industry isn’t broken.

It’s evolved, and if you’re ready to evolve with it, you’re about to see massive results.

The wake-up call? Stop doing what doesn’t work and start doing what actually moves the needle.

Why Most People Fail (And How to Avoid It)

Here’s the cold, hard truth: most reps fail because they’re trying to run 2025 businesses with 2010 tactics.

Cold DMs, generic pitches, and “hustle harder” strategies just don’t cut it anymore.

People are smart – they’re skeptical, they’re overloaded, and they can see right through the spam.

The biggest mistake? Ignoring social recruiting and personal branding.

You can’t just throw posts into the void and expect results.

If you don’t know how to use social media strategically, you’ll waste hours online and see zero return.

That’s exactly what happened to us in the early days before we discovered audience automation and systems.

We were grinding, posting, messaging, and still getting nowhere.

Avoid the trap: shift your mindset.

Stop chasing, stop spamming, and start attracting.

Focus on providing value, building relationships, and positioning yourself as someone people actually want to follow.

The industry isn’t broken – it’s the approach that’s failing most people.

Adjust your strategy, and everything changes.

What Actually Works in 2025 & Beyond

So, what’s working today? Let’s break it down.

    Story-based content that connects.

People want to know what’s in it for them.

They want to engage with your story, your struggles, and your wins.

This is influence marketing at its finest.

    Personal branding.

Forget pushing products or opportunities in every post.

    Focus on serving your audience.

Solve their problems, inspire them, and build trust.

Simple recruiting systems that work even offline.

    Automation is your secret weapon.

AI and systems can handle the heavy lifting, from nurturing leads to following up, so you can spend your time on high-impact actions.

This frees you up to live your life – more walks with your kids, more vacations, more date nights – while your business continues to grow.

If you want to succeed, you’ve got to stop treating network marketing like a full-time hustle.

Work smarter, serve more, and let automation and systems do the heavy lifting.

The Modern Blueprint for Network Marketing Success

Here’s the bottom line: network marketing isn’t broken, it’s evolving.
