  • Which Social Media Is Best For Your Niche And Your Business?

Which Social Media Is Best For Your Niche And Your Business?

Which social media platform is better for your niche to build your business?

This is a question we get asked all the time.

Today I am going to talk about the different platforms available and how to use them to build your business.

    BE SOCIAL

Social media is called social media for a reason.

People go on social media to be social, not to buy something or sell something.

We don’t wake up in the morning and think “oh I need new shoes, let me go on Instagram to find some”.

People go on social media to socialize, to get educated, and to get entertained.

So keep that in mind and respect the purpose of the platform and play by the platforms rules.

If you do it will reward you with so many tools and features to help you sell and grow your business.

You have to be social first. You have to be human first and a marketer second.

    CHOOSING A PLATFORM

The two platforms we get asked about the most are Facebook and Instagram. These platforms are the most commonly used by marketers.

So which one is better for your niche and your business?

Well, I am going to be honest with you, there is no such thing as the right platform.

You have to decide which one is best for you and I am going to help you do that.

You will want to choose one platform in the beginning because it is really hard to be consistent on multiple platforms at first.

So I advise you to master one platform, get really good at it, and when it doesn’t take a lot of your energy and time, then move onto the next one.

    CONSIDER THESE FACTORS

There are several factors you need to keep in mind and pay attention to when it comes to deciding which platform to put your main efforts into.

First, you want to think about where your perfect prospects might hang out.

It might be different then where you like to be. Figure out where your people will be and that’s where you need to be.

Secondly, I want you to think about where its easier for you to connect with people and build relationships.

You want to choose the platform where you can connect with people privately and you feel comfortable.

And number three, you have to remember that Instagram is mostly a visual platform.

People will look at the photo or video before the text.

CHOOSE THE BEST ONE FOR YOU

There is no right or wrong one. There is not a perfect platform for everyone.

You just need to pick the one that is best suited to you and your business.

Remember to be social, connect with people and build relationships.

  • Three Biggest Mistakes That Network Marketers Make On Social Media

Three Biggest Mistakes That Network Marketers Make On Social Media

For the last two years, we have been forced to stay inside and not talk to people face to face.

Did you adjust your business accordingly?

If not, then keep reading, because what worked a couple years ago on social media is no longer working. And what was working face to face is no longer available.

I am going to share with you three of the biggest mistakes network marketers make on social media so you can avoid them and maximize your time and create more results.

I have made every single one of these mistakes that I am talking about.

So, I am speaking from experience and not trying to judge anyone.

I want to help you avoid making them and point you in the right direction.

    STOP CHASING YOUR PROSPECTS

The first mistake is you are chasing everyone and applying old school face to face strategies to online prospecting.

When a new network marketer comes to social media trying to promote their opportunity or products, you see them trying to use the old school face to face prospecting strategies. And they expect them to work the same way.

But they end up learning the hard way that it does not actually work.

Most of you came to social media and your upline told you “just talk to more people. That’s where people are right now, on social media 24/7. The people will come, just post your products and start talking to more people.”

Then you see a month or two goes by and no ones coming.

Instead of chasing people or trying to apply the same strategies to social media, you have to learn how to attract the right people to you.

Stop chasing everyone, because not everyone is your perfect prospect, and learn how to attract those people who are already looking for what your offering.

    YOU ARE NOT YOUR COMPANY

The second mistake I see is that network marketers are treating their social media profiles like they are their company’s billboard.

I am guilty of doing that myself.

Social media is not where people come to buy stuff.

Yes, we end up buying a lot of things we see on social media, but that’s not why they come onto social media.

They come to check on their friends, to socialize, to get entertained, to get educated.

They don’t wake up in the morning and think to themselves “oh I’m going to go on Instagram because I need toothpaste”.

If all they see from you is sales posts then they will get bored.

You want to follow the 80/20 rule. You want 20% of your posts to be business related and 80% percent of your posts should be about normal life.

But even though you are not directly posting about your opportunity or product, you can still create posts that will help attract those people to it.

    BUILD THE RELATIONSHIP

The third mistake that I see is when network marketers interact with new people the first thing they do is pitch their product or opportunity.

What they are missing is building the relationship. You have to build the know, like and trust.

We are in a business of relationships. People buy from people they know.

So you need to learn how to transform those small conversations into business conversations without being a salesy weirdo.

    CREATE MORE RESULTS

So the three mistakes you need to avoid are:

    1. Don’t chase the masses. Stop chasing people and learn to attract the right prospects to you
    2. Stop being a billboard for your company. You will repel people who could be your perfect customer.
    3. Take time to build relationships with people that come into your network.

If you can do that, then you will create a lot more results in a faster timeframe.

  • Three Steps To Create The Perfect Social Media Profile To Attract Network Marketing Prospects

Three Steps To Create The Perfect Social Media Profile To Attract Network Marketing Prospects

Do you find that when you send a friend request out that you aren’t getting a response?

Or maybe when someone sends you one and you look at their profile and you are thinking “I don’t like that I can’t see what they are about”.

I am going to give you my three steps to creating the perfect social media profile to attract people to your page.

HAVE A CLEAR PHOTO OF YOU

The first step, and this may seem obvious, is your profile picture.

You want to have a bright, smiley, happy photo of you showing your face. Not from miles away, but actually close up.

It shouldn’t be of you and your spouse, or you and your kids, or you and your dogs. It should be just you. So they can clearly see your face.

Remember that this is a peoples business. People do business with people that they can see.

You don’t have to go out and have a professional photo shot. It doesn’t need to be perfect.

    You can take a selfie.

TELL PEOPLE HOW YOU CAN SERVE THEM

People always want to know what is in it for them.

When people want to connect with you, they want to know “what’s in it for me”?

“What am I going to get from her? Why would I want to connect with her?”

So the second step is to make sure your banner, your about me, your bio is telling them about you and letting them get to know how you can serve them.

Everything you do when you are growing your business, when you are growing a network marketing business, is not about you.

It is about your perfect prospects. It is about your perfect customers. It is about the people that you are serving.

In your banner and bio, let them know how you can help them.

    START CONVERSATIONS

The third thing is you want to start conversations in order to enroll more prospects in order to enroll customers, you need to have a conversation with them.

I see it so often, people put their before and after’s, or they will have their website link in their bio.

They have all the information there and that gives people no reason to connect with them.

So what are they going to do? They are going to click the link.

They are going to google your product or your company. Or maybe they have a friend that they know, like, and trust and they go and connect with that person.

When you can, create curiosity. Create curiosity around the benefits of your product, speaking to the pains and struggles of the person you are serving.

Then they will want to connect. Then you can have that conversation and find out more about them.

You want to make sure you remove all company links, products links, all before and after’s, anything that is telling the people what your company or products are.

Your biggest secret should be what company you are with and what product you are selling.

And when you create curiosity around that then people are going to come to you to find out more.

    SHOW THEM WHO YOU ARE

I have one more bonus tip for you when you are creating your social media profile.

When people want to connect with you they are going to look at the first couple of posts.

They are going to see what content you have been sharing. They want to see who you are and what you are about.

So make sure that your profile is public so that they can see the content you are sharing.

And make sure that the content you are sharing is focused on letting your perfect prospect get to know who you are, letting them see your lifestyle, letting them see that you are just like them.

Educating them. Entertaining them. Inspiring them.

It should not be all around your products or company.

    TALK TO YOUR PERFECT PROSPECT

So when creating your social media profile make sure to:

    1. Have a clear and happy photo of you.
    2. Use your bio, banner, and about me to let your prospect get to know you and what you offer.
    3. Remove all product and company links to help create conversations.
    4. Your content is focused and serving your perfect prospect.

  • Five Ways To Grow Your Business For Busy Moms

Five Ways To Grow Your Business For Busy Moms

The best thing you can do in building your business is to build a business that you want and love.

I wanted to be able to be my own boss, to be in charge of my own schedule so that I could be more present and focused as a Mom.

I am guilty of being that Mom that had her face buried in her phone while attending an event or game.

But once I started implementing these tips into my business I was able to still grow a thriving business and be present for my kids.

    CREATE A SCHEDULE

So the first thing you want to do is identify how much time do you have each day to work on your business.

Go through and schedule your calendar with all the things that are happening in the week.

This will help you identify gaps in your day, pockets of time, where you can work on your business.

And then you build your business in those pockets of time.

    PLAN AHEAD

Once you have your schedule laid out, you are going to want to plan ahead as best you can.

You want to plan ahead on those busy days or weeks.

For me, there are some weeks where we have tournaments that take two full days of my weekend.

So if I am trying to build my business between all of that craziness, I am going to feel overwhelmed.

I am going to be running around and nothing is actually going to get done for my business.

So if you know you are going to be busy, you can take time when you are not and build all your content for that week.

You can pre-record any videos, build out posts, and create graphics.

So all you need to do is literally plug it in to your social media outlets and go.

    NEVER STOP BUILDING YOUR AUDIENCE

This is probably the most important piece, focusing on growing your network daily.

That means connecting with new people on social media.

Sometimes we get stuck talking to the same people month after month after month.

And when those people aren’t a fit, or they don’t respond, you are stuck with no one to talk to.

If we are adding new people and connecting with new people every single day, over the course of 30 days, you could have added a hundred new friends.

You could have expanded your network and your audience by a hundred people.

That is huge, because those people are now focused on what they see on your social media.

And you are warming them up and building a connection with them.

    BE CONSISTENT

You need to show up consistently on social media.

That’s why it is so important to plan ahead. So that way you don’t go a week or two and you haven’t posted anything.

If you aren’t posting consistently it is hard for people to connect with you and for you to build that relationship with the know, like, and trust. It also hurts your algorithm on social media.

If there is no way you are going to be able to go live or post, have a plan in place.

Planning ahead will help you stay consistent. You want to be consistently showing up for your audience.

Because that’s how they get to know you, how they relate with you, that’s how you build that relationship of know, like, and trust.

People buy from people that they know, like, and trust.

    FOCUS ON VIDEO MARKETING

This is huge. Video has always been the best way to grow your network.

You can get multiple things done with one action of creating a live video.

You can grow your audience. You can get in front of people to build that know, like, and trust.

If they can relate to you, see your personality, it helps to build that relationship and take someone from cold to warm to hot.

You can do this by creating Facebook stories, Reels, and TikTok videos.

All it takes is about 7-15 seconds of video to be able to grow your network.

    YOU CAN DO IT TOO

This has been the best way for me to grow a thriving business, multiple six and seven figure businesses, all on social media, all while being a busy Mom.

So by being able to identify where my time is, planning ahead, focusing on growing my audience every single day, showing up consistently, and being able to use short video marketing I have been able to get in front of the right people and build that relationship with them.

This is a game changer, and you can do it too.

  • How To Effectively Use TikTok To Grow Your Network Marketing Business

How To Effectively Use TikTok To Grow Your Network Marketing Business

What is the most important part of building a network marketing business?

    Your products? Your opportunity? No.

It is expanding your reach and growing your network.

A lot of times we get focused on the five people we are talking to right now.

We spend all of our time talking to them, and getting drug along month after month.

At the end of the day, when they all say “No”, then we have no one else to talk to.

How do you grow your business when you have talked to everyone you know?

Today I am going to dive into why this microcontent social media platform is the best place to grow your network today.

Do you know what the number one social media platform is right now?

If you said TikTok, you are correct.

With short seven to fifteen second videos, It is out performing Facebook, Instagram, reels, Snapchat, all the things.

The good news is… there is still time to get on the boat.

TikTok is moving in an upward trend and continues to grow. It has not even begun to meet that threshold where it starts to stabilize.

IT IS LIKE NOTHING YOU HAVE SEEN BEFORE

When it comes to growing a network, people make the mistake of only focusing on their warm markets.

If you want to 10X your business growth, you have to focus on growing your network daily, and getting outside of your warm market.

This is why I love TikTok – it is the perfect place to do just that.

TikTok is highly effective at getting your videos in front of millions of people.

People you don’t know will start to follow you, they start commenting on your videos, and you will have strangers buying from you and joining your team.

This platform differs from other platforms because you don’t have to spend your time engaging or building your influence and relationship with your prospects.

People will buy from you and follow you without you having to spend so much time hanging out with them.

    YOU NEED TO POST CONSISTENTLY

To be effective on TikTok you need to post consistently everyday.

It doesn’t matter if you are posting once a day or three times a day.

It doesn’t matter what time you post. It doesn’t have to be fancy with all the bells and whistles.

You can start very basic and still be able to put content out there.

It can seem overwhelming, especially when getting started. Don’t overthink it.

    Start simple and be consistent.

ANY VIDEO CAN GO VIRAL AT ANY TIME

You never want to delete any videos, even if it gets low views.

You could have one video go viral, or one that gets lots of views, and all of a sudden people are coming and seeing your other videos.

A lot of times people want to hide the posts that get low views or delete it. You have to ditch that mindset.

We are not here for vanity lights.

We are trying to grow your audience and get true followers.

YOU DON’T HAVE TO SPEND EVERYDAY MAKING VIDEOS

You will want to batch your content.

What that means is – you pick a day and create multiple videos. You can do this once a week, or more if you desire.

You will keep these videos in your draft section. Once you have a plethora of videos housed in your draft section, it is just a matter of pulling it up, putting your words on it, and adding your hashtags.

The more videos you create the faster and easier it will be to edit them.

This helps make the process less overwhelming. It helps you to be consistent, even when you don’t have time.

    BE TRUE TO YOURSELF

TikTok is the place to let your hair down 100%.

A lot of people feel like they can’t be themselves on social media, and that shows up in a certain way. They turn on all the filters, and think to themselves “I can’t say this or that”.

On TikTok you are in a big world of millions of people, it is the place that you are going to find the weird stuff, the funny stuff, the sad stuff, and the vulnerable stuff.

It is a place to put your stuff out there – bad day, parenting, spouse, humor, all of it.

There have been plenty of times where I watch a video and think to myself “wow, I never saw it like that” or “I never thought to do it that way”.

I encourage you to be true to yourself.

    GET THE RIGHT EXPOSURE

To help your videos get more views and exposure you will want to use the trending audio, but put your own spin on it.

You also want to be intentional with your hashtags.

I see a lot of people using random tags and that is not going to help you.

The purpose of hashtags on TikTok is to make it so people can search specific content. Hashtags are used to get in front of groups of people. So think about who you want your content in front of.

TikTok will show you the audience size on your hashtags. You don’t want to chose the highest number, because then more people are using that tag and it will be harder to get seen.

GOING VIRAL IS NOT THE GOAL

Going viral should not be your goal.

That is a wonderful thing, but going viral isn’t going to make or break your influence or following.

What is going to help you is showing up consistently, using trending audio, using the right hashtags, and using your Call-To-Action.

  • The 5 BIGGEST MISTAKES Network Marketers Make And How To Avoid Them

The 5 BIGGEST MISTAKES Network Marketers Make And How To Avoid Them

Hello! I’m Kat Krasilnikov and I’m one of the Beach Boss Influencers.

The Beach Boss Influencers is an amazing coaching community for marketers and entrepreneurs, where we teach you how to build your business a hundred percent online using social media, without chasing prospects. We teach you how to attract them and how to become an influencer.

In this training, I’m going to be talking about

five mistakes most network marketers make that keep them stuck

Now, I’m not going to be judging anyone here. I’ve made these mistakes myself! but I’ve learned, and I want to tell you what to avoid and what to do instead. Are you excited? Let’s get started.

    1. Thinking everyone is your prospect

This is probably the biggest mistake  we see in a lot of new network marketers or old-school network marketers. Mistake number one is thinking that everyone is your prospect.

I was taught it as the number one rule in traditional network marketing – don’t prejudge people, share your products and your opportunity with everyone. You never know.

You’ve probably been there. You’ve probably been told this advice and you probably followed it.

How did it go for you?

I’m not going to argue that it doesn’t work. It totally does work, but what kind of price do you have to pay for this concept?

If you follow it your data says that in order for you to get one yes, you have to get 99 nos.

    It’s statistics and it’s true.😲

The problem with that is there are many people who have mastered that skillset and they can convert every –  let’s say – fifth prospect, but it took them years to master that skill set. And not everyone can do that.

An average network marketer, an average person cannot do that.

This leads to tons and tons of rejection!

Which leads to another problem- that is the majority of people will quit on NO number three. Nobody ever gets to no number 99 or a hundred. Nobody ever gets to the yes.

That’s why a lot of people quit without seeing any results, his process is very painful and takes a lot of effort. You need to have thick skin and you need to have great skills. Most people don’t have it. It’s not unlearnable, it’s totally learnable, but it takes a long time.

Learn how to identify who your perfect prospects are, where they hang out, and how to attract them to you. So you don’t even have to chase anyone at all.

    2.Focusing on the end result

A lot of us – and I’m guilty as well, when we become so involved in this industry, we focus on the end result and the end result is sales in your recruits.

    That’s what we want.

A lot of people chasing around with dollar signs, with that hidden agenda. When they connect with people, when they communicate with people, all they want is to sell and it’s that commission motive that can be smelled a mile away and we humans can feel it on a subconscious level.

So instead of focusing on the end result – the sale (the new recruits), you need to be focusing on how to master the skills that will get you that result.

So essentially, you have to divorce the results and marry the process.

So instead of thinking how can I make more money, how can I get more sales, how can I recruit more people.

You need to be thinking how can I be posting better content, how can I be making better, more engaging live videos, how can I communicate better with people on a human level.

That’s the kind of skill sets you need to be working on.

So not the end result, and the result will absolutely come. It’s like a side effect.

It’s a very powerful side effect of focusing on the skills.

    3. Your product is not your attractor factor – YOU ARE.

If you want to attract people, you need to know that your products, your opportunity, and your company are not your attractor factors.

This is a huge one for many people because they don’t understand why – how can I sell my products?

If I don’t talk about my products, how can I recruit people?

If I don’t tell them what company it is and what it does?

So what is your attractor factor?

If you think that your company or your products is what attracts people to you, then what makes you different from hundreds of thousands of distributors who are selling the exact same thing?

This is not your attractor factor.

Your real attractor factor is YOU and how you can help people.

     People want to know:

    ▪ What is your story?

    ▪ What is your journey?

    ▪ What struggles have you been through along the way?

    ▪ What makes you more attractive than just sharing how amazing your products are?

Your products and your company become just a bonus.

Therefore, your main attractor factor is you.

You need to figure out how to promote yourself as a people helper rather than a salesperson. So learn how to promote yourself and your products and your company will become a bonus, an amazing bonus for those people who want to get more information from you.

    4. DO NOT ignore the power of a passive follow up.

How many of you love follow up?

How many of you have heard the magic is in full follow up, right?

And we all kind of hate it because we feel like we’re bugging people. They already told us no, they’re not interested. Not right now. Can’t afford it. It’s not what I thought it was, it’s a subscription. No, no, no, no, no. And we leave people alone thinking that we’ve done our follow up, or I don’t wanna follow up that way. I don’t want to be bugging people and we kind of stop.

There is another magic tool that is actually more powerful than active follow up.

I call it passive follow up.

So if you show up in their newsfeed with a question or with a post, they’ll be like, oh my gosh, I remember a message from that girl. And I didn’t answer it. I need to go and answer it or I need to reply to it, or I need to watch it. You come back into their focus.

You become visible and you remind those people of yourself.

    That’s the passive follow up.

Three ways you can passively follow up with people without feeling like you’re bugging them:

    1. You can tag them in the valuable information that you have provided to someone else.

    2. You can message them about your video or about your post or about your story.

    3. Comment on their stuff.

Let’s say, if you did a video on how to make drinks that help you to lose weight. If you made some valuable video and you know that this person has expressed their dissatisfaction with not being able to lose weight or have expressed their desire to, then they need help with losing weight.

They might have said no, I can’t buy it right now.

You’re not trying to sell anymore, you’re just tagging them and saying, Hey, Susie, I just did a video on how to blank without blank. I thought it might be helpful to you.

    You’re providing value.

You’re showing up on their post. You’re giving them love. You’re engaging with them.

You remind them of yourself and your relationship with the person and that you still care about them.

This is a very powerful concept. Some marketers don’t even know about passive follow up. They only think about how can I make a sale, how I can get those people to buy.

So tag those people in your valuable content that they want to see, and you will see what it will do for you.

So passive follow up is a thing. It’s a very powerful tool and it’s ignored.

    5. Thinking its a sprint, It’s a marathon.

A lot of network marketers think that it’s a sprint.

That you join the industry, you take the products, and they’re amazing. You tell to all your friends and family about it. They’re going to buy it. They’re going to join your team. And you’re going to climb to the top really fast. Or you find that rockstar who’s going to blow it up for you and boom.

    I call this microwave mentality.

If you want real success, you need to know that it’s not a sprint. It’s a marathon.

Yeah, some people make one post and they make a hundred sales. But guess what? It’s not the rule. It’s the exception to the rule. It’s not duplicable for the majority of people.

It takes months and years to master those skill sets, master the skill of growing networks and connecting with those networks.

It takes time. It’s going to take time to get to the top, but it’s absolutely worth it.

So these are my five mistakes. Let’s go over it very quickly:

    • First, not everyone is your prospect.
    • Second, instead of focusing on the end result, you should be focusing on the process to get there.
    • Number three is that your product is not your attractor factor – You are.
    • Number four, do not ignore the power of a passive follow up.
    • Number five, get rid of the microwave mentality. It’s a marathon. It’s a long journey, not only of mastering the skill set, but also personal growth.

Comment below and let me know which one is your favorite, which one you had no clue about and which one grabbed your attention and you think you need to work on that part.

I hope you got value and I will see you next time.
